The new permissions - one step closer to interactivity Facebook

Recent changes in the structure of Facebook,
announced at the f8 conference in September 2011, offering developers
authorizations necessary to make the messages generated by
applications more visible on the new user profile (called
Timeline). By introducing the concept of "widget" allows Facebook
virtually developers to act on different objects, bringing
interaction to a whole new level. To date, any person
with an installed application interacts with his friends inside
of this application. Now the application is on the wall
the user, so that any person interacting with the profile
the user interacts with the application.
Given the short lifespan of applications generating spam
This could boost their effectiveness. However, given the fact that the
feature is new, it is likely to spend some time
before spammers exploit fully.
Facebook will also adapt the flow of requests for authorization
based on recent changes. Which means it will first be asked
allow users to an essential set of permissions,
including E-mail Publish and Stream (which allows the application to access
to the Timeline), the extensive list of permissions (some of which have
described above) will appear in a second page of dialogue.
Facebook now offers users the ability to cancel
any permission on the list range, which offers them
theoretically more control over the information to which they allow
Access and initiatives that applications can take.
